Hi I’m Lorenzo a self taught freelance portrait and landscape photographer based in Cape Town, South Africa.

I have great passion for the art of photography and have recently taken  the plunge to leave the corporate world to practice the art form I enjoy and forge a new career

An adventurer at heart,  my love of nature and hiking takes me to some truly beautiful places, but to me landscape photography does not only refer to the grand and majestic, but also the ordinary, the small details a casual passerby would miss, and most importantly the stories that they tell.

When it comes to portraiture, I love the challenge and opportunity to capture a moment in time from a person's life, be it happiness, pain, an unexpected moment in-between. People are endlessly diverse in both appearance and character, and yet we are also all exactly the same. We’re all looking for a connection, to be seen and heard during our short time on this earth. I find a lot of pleasure in finding and showing people what makes them look good, or interesting, especially when they do not believe they are. Everyone is art.

In all my photography, I hold myself to a high standard, continuously researching and learning to improve my technical skills, and when working with clients I strive to provide the best possible experience and exceed expectations.
